Guild Wars Sells over 5 Million Units
This doesn’t mean that Guild Wars has 5 million players. The figure includes the sales of the original Guild Wars, Factions, Nightfall and the actual expansion Eye of the North in North America, Europe, and Asia. Most of the people who still play the game probably bought more that one of the games. I, for one, am one of those fools that did.
Still, that’s quite an achievement for a “semi” – MMORPG. I played it when it first came out and recently got back into it. It’s a great series of games for those who don’t want to shell out money every month to keep going. Guild Wars only steals money from me when I want an expansion. That’s fine with me!
I can’t wait until Guild Wars 2 comes out, whenever that may be…
